[2007-09-04] - Installation Nightmare!

Yeah, I know ... I should have released this what .. LAST YEAR? I've had a lot on my plate, and yes, I still want to support minibill. I've made some simple fixes to the installation, and now it should be pretty much seamless. Shoot me a message in the forums if you have any other issues with the installation!

Enjoy!

[2006-09-11] - CALLING ALL PAYPAL USERS!

Hey, just wanted to let everybody know that we are rolliong out paypal with IPN support. Our prelim testing indicates that it works, however I'd like to get second third fourth ... opinions on the matter so we can make sure everybody is happy with the integration of paypal in the MiniBill system!

Enjoy!

[2006-09-05] - Get your security updates here!

Okay, apparently there was some hallibaloo about MiniBill 1.2.2 (ipn.php & initPlugins.php) on securitytracker.com. Well, we've issued a fix for everyone who is concerned. Grab the latest, copy your config.php somewhere safe, and re-install that sucker! Thank you hackers for finding this, I'll be sure to be more vigilant as I continue coding!

[2006-07-05] - Check your Billing STATS: mod_stats is here!

We now have implemented mod_stats for your statistical eye-candy pleasure! Now you can easily check out what is going on with your weekly sales and compare them with last week using some sweet flash pie charts and line graphs by maani.us! Also, check out a quick view of what your top 5 selling items are.

This is a testing rollout, so that is all we have at the moment. New ideas are STRONGLY engouraged, please let us know in the MiniBill forums what you want to see with stats as they are pretty simple to implement!

[2006-06-15] - Mystery Register Globals issue: SOLVED!

Fixed a mysterious issue where having register_globals on was overwriting session data!
See: This post for details.

Special thanks to Sebastian Greco! (http://www.bothmedia.com)

[2006-05-12] - Call for helpers!

As you may probably notice, I have no billing invoice templates set up for minibill at the moment.
If someone out there would be so kind as to help build just the html structure, or point me in the direction of what a decent invoice looks like (html format please) I would like to use it in minibill.

[2006-05-12] - updates!

I went through the installer for minibill today, and fixed those little nasty bugs that were happening upon install. So, installing minibill is now MUCH MUCH easier - get you off and billing your hosting clients in no time!

[2006-04-11] - New Version 1.2:0 is up!

Lots of nifty fixes in this one. We're really getting things ready to go. Just a few more tweaks, and I think we'll have ourselves a nice little pluggable recurring billing program that anybody can add on to. Plugins are getting more organized and easier to understand. A special thanks to Haiden, who has started documenting some of our more .. Un-intuitive issues .. such as installation. Lets cheer Haiden on in the MiniBill forums, and show our appreciation!

[2006-02-17] - Check out our new mod_cart!

You can now create a nice looking shopping cart in MiniBill with Minimal Effort! mod_cart allows you to use MiniBill not only as a billing system, but as a shopping cart as well. You can upload thumbnail images, and larger view images; Change the quantity of your items, add to cart and more.

[2006-02-17] - mod_forms Almost available!

Rebuilding minibill is going to pay off with new features like mod_forms, where you can assign a completely unique form/survey and tie it to each item which is added to a persons shopping cart list, even if they add multiple items. You can create forms for hosting, WISP, ISP's and whatever else you feel like creating forms for. IT will be up to you what you do with the data! Its about 95% complete and is an invaluable compliment to our shopping cart plugin, mod_cart.

[2006-02-13] - New Version 1.1:8 is up!

WHEW! After about 3 weeks of re-vamping the entire codebase, the way plugins work and a myriad of other issues and errors I think this is the last iteration of the minibill engine for a while. A lot of time was spent on security, and easing plugin development.

MiniBill is now very straightforward and easy to work with. I think you will find that MiniBill is becoming a little monster for recurring billing while still retaining its prestige as "mini".

About 90% of Paypal is in and working. what this means is you will be able to take orders via paypal but I haven't completely plugged in the paypal IPN part that is needed to do recurring billing. So, for now, you can at least just take orders via paypal. Eventually I will have the ipn modules for cancel, fail and success.

[2005-09-17] - NEW GPL LICENSING!

To our knowlege, Minibill is one of the only free and fully open source / GPL billing software. Please be aware, that some of the files may not quite yet be updated to reflect a proper GPL license header. Just disregard it or let us know!

[2005-04-27] - Added Quarterly and Semi-annual billing.

Minibill now supports semi-annual billing and quarterly billing. see the minibill changelog for more information.
